The OPS office was formed to ensure the Colorado Bureau of Investigation maintains the highest level of integrity and professionalism possible.
The Office of Professional Standards is responsible for all CBI Internal Affairs Investigations, the national CALEA certification process, the bureau wide training program, and policy review and implementation.
All compliments and complaints are processed by the OPS. The highest level of confidentiality and integrity is maintained by the OPS staff, reviewing every allegation made to the CBI.
