Forcible Rape

• In 2007 a total of 1,949 forcible rapes were reported by law enforcement agencies in Colorado. 
• This is a 4% decrease in forcible rapes from 2006. 
• Forcible rape accounted for 3.9% of the major offenses reported.
• 1,822 or 93.5% of the rapes were reported as completed forcible rapes.
• 127 or 6.5% of the rapes were reported as attempted offenses.
